He is First.  You are Second.  The Ministry is Third.

Matthew 6 Ministry exists to walk alongside ministries and groups that are genuinely seeking God's direction — helping them develop the vision He has already placed within them.

The work is done quietly.  Without announcement.  We are a vessel for His divine plan — nothing more, and nothing less.

First — always
He is First

In a day of varying standards, one source does not change — God's Holy Word.  It is the direction and the guideline.  The foundation beneath everything.  Before the ministry.  Before the work.  Before anything else.

Second — personally
You are Second

Your individual relationship with your Heavenly Father — your daily walk, your personal devotion — comes before any organizational mission.  You are His child first.  A servant of the Kingdom second.

Third — together
The Ministry

Within those walks we become a single Body — reaching out in love to those who are lost and hurting, proclaiming the salvational good news of Jesus Christ's payment on the cross.  The ministry follows the person.  Always.

Matthew 6  ·  Verses 1 through 4

Verse 1
"Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them.  If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven."
Verse 2
"So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others.  Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full."
Verse 3
"But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,"
Verse 4
"so that your giving may be in secret.  Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you."
